What we offer
There is a range of benefits for all Canongate employees, including:
- Pension – the company contributes up to 7% when employee contributes at least 5%

- 36 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) pro-rated
- Additional holiday days, increasing with years at Canongate
- One month’s paid holiday after 20 years at Canongate which can be tacked on to a further two weeks holiday
- Discretionary, uncapped bonus scheme based on annual pre-tax operating profits and pay scale within the company
- Maternity leave – 52 weeks in total: nine weeks at full pay, then six weeks at half pay, before Statutory Maternity Pay begins. Employees with more than two years’ service receive one additional week at full pay, up to a maximum of three additional weeks
- The same entitlements apply for adoption leave
- Paternity leave – two months at full pay
